Create new PDF from Scratch or from a scanner?

Hello, my name is LOW, and I am the Product Manager for the PlanForm application. I’d like to follow up on the question you raised in our forum.

Your question was: “Can you simply start a new PDF from scratch or from a scanner direct to the program? This is something Adobe and Revu both can do. Also, having a way to create and save custom symbols to use for take‑offs would be very helpful. Again another thing your competitors provide for. Being able to put those custom tools into a tool chest and share is a very desired feature.”

From my understanding, you would like to:

• Create a blank PDF page and sketch line diagrams with symbols directly in the program.
• Save the custom symbols you create into a tool chest so they can be reused and shared across projects.

To help us design the right tools, could you kindly share 2–3 sample symbol diagrams you’ve used in previous projects (for example, from Bluebeam or even a hand sketch)? This will give our team a clearer picture of the features and workflows we need to support.
