How to Adjust Drawing Display Unit and Precision in CAD Reader?

CAD Reader now supports both imperial and metric unit systems. The application automatically detects the default drawing units, but you can change the display unit and precision in the settings to match your preference.

Step by Step Guide:

1. Launch a drawing in CAD Reader latest version 3.8.8

2. Tap on “Settings” in the toolbar.

3. Select the “Display & Precision” tab.

4. CAD Reader will auto detect the drawing unit based on the designer’s settings.

5. Customize Display Units and Precision: 

Length: choose ft in, ft, or in

Area: choose sq ft or sq in

Adjust precision for measurements such as length, area, and coordinates

6. Example – Display in Feet and Inches: 

If you select ft in as the display unit, all length measurements will be shown in feet and inches.
