Increasing Line Weight During Printing in CAD Reader
Drafters often apply different line weights to distinguish reinforcement, electrical, telecommunication, and mechanical lines from the main structural lines. When line weights are too fine, important details can become unreadable in construction drawings. Every detail matters and must be clear to personnel ranging from cost estimators to site workers. To address this, CAD Reader provides a feature that allows users to increase line weight during printing or when converting CAD drawings into PDF, ensuring better visual clarity.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Launch the drawing in the CAD Reader application.
2. Select the “Print” option from the toolbar.

3. Click “Select print area”, then drag a box around the drawing border.

4. Adjust your preferred color settings, line width scale, and set the total number of copies.

5. Configure the printer, paper size, orientation, and properties in the ''Settings''.

6. Click “Print” to complete the process.
