How to Search Text in a CAD Drawing?

Construction drawings often contain numerous abbreviations, technical terms, and notes. To help users quickly locate specific words or abbreviations, CAD Reader provides a Text Search feature that scans the entire drawing instantly.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open your drawing in CAD Reader.

2. Click the Search Text icon located at the top-right corner of the screen.

3. Enter the word or abbreviation you want to find in the search box.

4. Choose your search preference:

a) Whole Word – finds exact matches only.

b) Text Included – finds partial matches within longer words.

5. Show list and quickly navigate to all instances of the text within the drawing
