How to Solve Unloaded External References in a CAD Drawing?

1. Launch the drawing in CAD Reader.

2. Close the pop-up window that states “The drawing contains some unloaded external references.”

3. On the toolbar, click the VIP feature.

4. From the drop-down menu, select ‘External Reference Manager’.

5. A list of external reference drawings will appear.

• Obtain all required reference drawings from the relevant person to ensure they can be attached.

6. Select a reference drawing and click ‘Change Path’ to attach it.

7. Repeat step 6 for each drawing in the list.

8. Once all references are attached, click ‘Bind All and Save’ to finalize.

9. The complete drawing will now display correctly as an individual file
