How to Print a Selected Area of a Drawing Using CAD Reader

1）Open the Drawing

• Launch drawing using CAD Reader on your computer.

2）Set Up PDF Export

• Click the ‘Open File’ icon in the toolbar, select ‘Export to PDF’ from the dropdown options (or go to VIP > Export PDF).

3）Select the Area to Print

• Click the ‘Select Export Area’ button (can be found at the top of the screen).
• Drag your cursor to draw a selection box around the desired area of the drawing.

4）Adjust Print Settings

• Choose the appropriate paper size (e.g., A4, A3, etc.).
• Modify other settings such as orientation (Portrait/Landscape), color, and with or without comments if needed.

5）Export & Print

• Click ‘Export’ to generate the PDF file.
• Open the exported PDF and use your preferred PDF viewer to print the selected area.
