To measure surface area in square meters (m2) using the CAD Reader app

1. Open your drawing in the CAD Reader app.
2. From the measurement toolbar, select the Distance Tool.
3. Verify existing dimensions on the drawing to ensure the scale is accurate.
4. After scaling, choose the Area Tool and trace a closed loop around the desired region to calculate the surface area.

• If needed, convert dimension values to meters using the Scale function to obtain results in square meters.
• Select the Scale Tool, then click on a known dimension.
• Input the correct real-world value in meters (e.g., if the measured length is 5750 mm, input 5.75 m).

Note: The measurement unit will align with the drawing scale. For example, dimensions in millimetres (mm) will yield results in square millimetres (mm²).
