Important Notes
• Private network = trusted networks like home or office Wi-Fi.
• Public network = less secure networks like coffee shops or airports.
• Only allow apps you trust, since opening firewall access can expose your system to risks
If Connection Still Fails
• Check Network Profile: Make sure your PC is set to the correct network type (Private vs Public).
• Reset Firewall Rules: In Firewall & network protection, choose Restore defaults if rules are corrupted.
• Check Third-Party Security Software: Antivirus suites often block apps separately from Windows Firewall.
• Run Network Troubleshooter:
Press Start → type Troubleshoot settings → select Internet Connections → run the troubleshooter.
• Verify Proxy/VPN Settings: Misconfigured proxies or VPNs can block access even if the firewall allows it.
• Some network errors occur when your device cannot resolve our official website's domain name. To fix this, try changing your system's DNS server to one of the following public DNS addresses:
- DNS: 223.5.5.5 or 223.6.6.6
- DNS: 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
