How to scale a drawing in CAD Reader?

1) Open the Drawing

• Launch the drawing using CAD Reader.

2) Check the Current Dimensions

• Use the Linear Measurement Tool to verify the existing dimensions of the drawing.

3) Access the Scale Tool

• If the drawing is not to scale, move your cursor to the toolbar and left-click on the Scale Tool.

4) Select Reference Points

• Click to select any two points on the drawing that have a known actual dimension and right-click to confirm.

5) Input Actual Length

• In the pop-up box, enter the true length between the two selected points to define the correct scale.

6) Confirm the Scale

• Click OK to apply and confirm the new scale setting.

7) Verify Other Dimensions

• Recheck other known dimensions to ensure the entire drawing is correctly scaled.
